Not Crafts, Creative Thinking:
Like art, kids are unique. They have different interests, strengths, personalities and skills. But children develop the best when both sides of the brain are being used and challenged. While most of the school system focuses on the left hemisphere (logical, analytical), the right hemisphere (emotional, intuitive, creativity) often gets slighted.
We’ve taken our passion for art and created sessions and classes where kids can have fun, collaborate, explore different cultures and express feelings. We provide a comfortable and safe environment for them to learn the vocabulary of the arts as well as think creatively while having a good time. And, we highly encourage sharing and displaying works to develop a sense of pride in self and appreciation of others’ talents.
By partnering with one of the highest regarded art suppliers around – Blick – we offer students quality
materials with which to work so they can appreciate and see the full benefit of artistic tools.

Our Certificate Programs:
Little Masters...big art is excited to announce our new certficate program that will start this September! This program is for our students ages 5-7 and students 8 and up. We have 8 different certificates for our students to earn. Each certificate consists of 4 Master artists, with each Master Artist session lasting 4 weeks (1 class a week for 4 weeks). On the first day of their class, students will receive an incomplete certificate that will have each Master Artist's picture or artwork in black and white. After the student completes the session, they will be presented at gallery night with a colored sticker of the same picture to place over the black and white one. This colored sticker symbolizes the completion of that session. Students will also receive an art supply which relates to that session so they can start building their very own artist supply box. For example, for an acrylic class they may receive a set of paintbrushes, paint, a mixing tray or paper. The certificate classes do not have to be taken in any order and students may work on one certificate to it's completion or they may work on more than one at a time.
NOTE: DRAWING AND FASHION ARTS (sewing) These 2 certificate programs are a little different then our regular classes. The certificate is the same where there are 4 stickers to earn, but these classes have to be completed in a certain order because they build upon one another. Also, these classes are technique based rather then taught around a Master Artist.
